the location is central. the staff was helpful. breakfast included fresh fruit and pastries. (i especially liked the croissants).
my room lacked natural light. it felt somewhat like a cave. the room had no particular charm except the bathroom.

charming stay
helpful staff great variety excellent service
all hotel staff was amazing. they were helpful. breakfast was really excellent with lots of variety. the room was beautifully appointed. the service you get there is so excellent! you can get a water taxi right to the door. it made arrival so much easier. i was so charmed.
our room wasn't great. it had no natural light. it felt a little like a cave. it really had no charm except for the bathroom, and that a shame.

the rooms were beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. the rooms are gorgeous and beds are so comfortable. the bathroom include good quality items. the rooms also include fine ornate chandeliers.

the staff were really good and the breakfast waiter was amazing. every single person there was very attentive and friendly. the front desk gave us tremendous recommendations for local restaurant, nice.

underwhelming room. decent location
stuffy room high prices
The room i got felt a bit stuffy. it was a standard double or twin room, and there wasn't much air flow, even with the window open. also, the minibar prices seemed really high. I thought twice about even grabbing a water.

i stayed in a suite canal view for three nights. the breakfast offered a variety of items to choose from and i found the terrace fully shaded, great for enjoying breakfast.
the hotel was a bit tricky to find using online maps.

Really good service and great location
helpful tips local food genuine care
The staff provided excellent recommendations for local food and sights. They gave helpful tips on getting the most from my trip. Their genuine care was obvious. ALL employees were amazing. This, i felt welcomed and valued.
The breakfast area was sometimes crowded during peak hours. This required some patience to find a free table. The seating arrangement could be optimised. More space IS needed during busy times. This small change would improve the experience.

The staff arranged boat transfers to and from the airport. I appreciated the convenience. They also provided valuable advice on local attractions and routes. I found the staff to be polite and helpful.
